Agentic AI For Healthcare Brainstorming Session with Builders & Advisors

Date
Fri, 21 August 2026
Time
3:00 PM – 5:00 PM AST(America/Barbados)
Agentic AI for Healthcare Systems & Delivery The Caribbean does not lack healthcare capability. It lacks coordination. Across the region, 70–80% of deaths are driven by non-communicable diseases, including diabetes, hypertension and cardiovascular disease. Yet care remains largely reactive, specialist access varies dramatically between islands, patient records are fragmented, and healthcare systems operate in silos. This Future Caribbean brainstorming session brings together builders, healthcare leaders, clinicians, insurers, technologists, advisors and institutions to explore what the next generation of healthcare infrastructure could look like — and what we can build now using Agentic AI. We will explore opportunities including: Pan-Caribbean telemedicine and specialist networks AI-powered chronic disease management Early detection and population risk scoring Intelligent triage and patient routing Interoperable patient records across jurisdictions Hospital capacity and clinical workflow coordination Healthcare data infrastructure Digital-first health insurance and preventive care models WhatsApp-first healthcare systems capable of reaching patients at scale The objective is not to build another isolated healthcare app. It is to design the coordination layer connecting patients, clinicians, hospitals, insurers, data and healthcare capacity across the Caribbean. Can a patient in one island access a specialist in another? Can Agentic AI identify someone at risk of diabetes before their condition progresses? Can healthcare capacity be routed regionally rather than nationally? Can continuous care happen through WhatsApp? Can a patient have a health record that moves with them across providers and jurisdictions? And ultimately: Can we move Caribbean healthcare from reactive treatment toward continuous, coordinated and preventive care? Bring the problems you are encountering, the systems that are not working, the data that is trapped in silos, and the ideas you think we should be building. Builders, advisors and members of the healthcare ecosystem are welcome.
